Craft or artisanal products

Definition
Products that are produced by artisans, either completely by hand or with the help of hand-tools or even mechanical means, as long as the direct manual contribution of the artisan remains the most substantial component of the finished product… The special nature of artisanal products derives from their distinctive features, which can be utilitarian, aesthetic, artistic, creative, culturally attached, decorative, functional, traditional, religiously and socially symbolic and significant”.

Artisanat ou produits de l’artisanat

Définition
Produits fabriqués par des artisans, soit entièrement à la main, soit à l’aide d’outils à main ou même de moyens mécaniques, pourvu que la contribution manuelle directe de l’artisan demeure la composante la plus importante du produit fini... La nature spéciale des produits artisanaux se fonde sur leurs caractères distinctifs, lesquels peuvent être utilitaires, esthétiques, artistiques, créatifs, culturels, décoratifs, fonctionnels, traditionnels, symboliques et importants d’un point de vue religieux ou social.

Artesanías o productos artesanales

Definición
Productos producidos por artesanos, ya sea totalmente a mano, o con la ayuda de herramientas manuales o incluso medios mecánicos, siempre que la contribución manual directa del artesano siga siendo el componente más importante del producto terminado… La naturaleza especial de los productos artesanales se basa en sus características distintivas, que pueden ser utilitarias, estéticas, artísticas, creativas, vinculadas a la cultura, decorativas, funcionales, tradicionales, y religiosa o socialmente simbólicas y significativas.
