Judgment sampling

Sample is taken based on certain judgments about the overall population. The underlying assumption is that the investigator will select units that are characteristic of the population. This is a non-probability sampling method.

Échantillonnage au jugé

Échantillon est prélevé en se fondant sur certains jugements au sujet de l'ensemble de la population. L'hypothèse qui sous-tend son utilisation est que l'enquêteur sélectionnera des unités qui représentent la population.

Muestreo basado en el juicio

Muestra se obtiene en base a juicios sobre la población general. La presunción fundamental es que el investigador seleccionará unidades características de la población. Esta técnica se conoce como muestreo no probabilístico.
