Construct

Definition
Hypothesised unobservable or mental trait that is used to explain individuals’ performance on an assessment. It is only measured trough observations or tasks performances from which the level of the test taker is inferred. Constructs cannot necessarily be directly observed or measured.

Il est mesuré uniquement au travers de résultats d’observations ou de tâches desquelles on déduit le niveau de la personne évaluée. Les construits ne peuvent pas être observés ou mesurés directement.

Definición
Característica hipotética no observable o rasgo mental utilizado para explicar el desempeño de una persona en una evaluación. Se mide exclusivamente a través de observaciones o desempeño en tareas de las cuales se puede inferir el nivel del participante. Los constructos no pueden ser observados o medidos en forma directa.
