Local/municipal level

Local/municipal level is a public administration that exists at the lowest administration level within government state such as municipality of district. Local level refers to local government units, which consist of local government institutional units and non-market institutions controlled at the local level. A local government often has the fiscal authority to raise taxes within its territory and should have the ability to spend at least some of its income according to its own policies, and appoint or elect its own officers.

Niveau local/municipal

Le Niveau local/municipal correspond à une administration publique au plus bas niveau de l’état, comme une municipalité ou un district. Le niveau local fait référence aux entités d’administration locales, à savoir des entités institutionnelles gouvernementales et des institutions non marchandes contrôlées au niveau local. Une administration locale dispose souvent d’une autorité fiscale pour prélever des taxes sur son territoire. Elle devrait également avoir la capacité de dépenser au moins une partie de ses revenus selon ses propres politiques, ainsi que de nommer ou d’élire ses propres agents.

El nivel local/municipal

El nivel local/municipal es una administración pública del nivel más bajo de la administración dentro del gobierno estatal, tales como los municipios o distritos. El nivel local hace referencia a las unidades locales de gobierno, que están formadas por unidades institucionales del gobierno local e instituciones ajenas al mercado, controladas a nivel local. Un gobierno local suele disponer de la autoridad para aumentar los impuestos dentro de su propio territorio y debería poder gastar, por lo menos, una parte de sus ingresos según sus propias políticas, así como designar o elegir a sus funcionarios.
